Geoform has been awarded the contract for precision alignment of the Drive Diagnostic (DrD) Vacuum Interface Plates, part of the assembly housing the most powerful laser in the world at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Our job will be to set the position of tooling spheres to coordinates provided by LLNL as a result of laser position measurements taken at the actual facility. The contract was awarded based on technical capability, cleanliness of our facility (providing a "clean area" as defined by LLNL) and price. |
